The symbols on the Orthodox cross include the three horizontal crossbeams, which represent the inscription that was nailed above Jesus' head on the cross, reading "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews." The slanted footrest at the bottom of the cross represents the wooden block that Jesus' feet were nailed to. Additionally, the slanted top beam of the cross represents the sign that Pilate had placed on the cross, which read "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" in three languages: Greek, Latin, and Hebrew. These symbols serve as a reminder of the crucifixion and the significance of Jesus' sacrifice in Orthodox Christian belief. **

Ultra-orthodox Jews, on the other hand, tend to strictly adhere to traditional religious practices and often live in more insular communities, with limited engagement with secular society. Ultra-orthodox Jews also typically place a strong emphasis on Torah study and religious observance. **

However, the Church does emphasize the importance of discernment and the cultivation of a virtuous and prayerful life. If engaging in lucid dreaming leads to behaviors or thoughts that are contrary to the teachings of the Church, then it may be considered sinful. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to prayerfully discern whether engaging in lucid dreaming is beneficial for their spiritual life. **
