The dessert has been enjoyed in the Middle East, Balkans, and Mediterranean regions for centuries. While the specific inventor is unknown, it is clear that Baklava has a long and rich history in the region. **

While it may be a delicious treat, it is high in sugar, fat, and calories, which may not provide the sustained energy and nutrients needed for a balanced breakfast. It is best enjoyed in moderation as an occasional indulgence rather than a regular breakfast option. **

To make Baklava dough, you will need to combine flour, water, salt, and a little bit of vinegar in a mixing bowl. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, then divide it into small balls. Roll out each ball of dough into thin sheets, brushing melted butter between each layer. This creates the flaky texture that is characteristic of Baklava. **
