Dreams are not scientifically proven to be predictions of the future. While some people may feel that their dreams have predicted future events, there is no empirical evidence to support this claim. Dreams are more likely a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences, rather than a glimpse into the future. During REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, the brain is highly active and can create vivid and immersive dream scenarios. Additionally, the emotional and sensory experiences in dreams can be very intense, further contributing to the feeling of reality. The brain also temporarily suspends critical thinking and logic during dreaming, making it easier for us to accept the dream as real while we are experiencing it. **
